Welcome to Journeys for Good. By accessing or booking a trip through our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read this document carefully before proceeding.
1. Overview
Journeys for Good is a social impact travel company offering customized travel planning services and group travel experiences. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users, travelers, and visitors of our website and services.
2. Booking and Payments
First-Time Planning Fee: A non-refundable $200 fee is required for personalized trip planning. This fee is applied toward your final trip cost if booked through us.
Final Payments: Full payment is required before travel confirmation is finalized. Deadlines vary depending on the destination, type of trip, and supplier policies.
Group Trips: Group packages may require deposits, staggered payments, and minimum participant requirements.
3. Research & Planning Services
If you choose to use our Research & Planning Only services (i.e., planning support without booking through us), the following fees apply:
Hotel & Destination Research – $100
Cruise Matchmaking – $150
Custom Itinerary Design – $200
Note: These fees are waived for clients booking trips through Journeys for Good.
4. Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Client Cancellations: Cancellations are subject to supplier terms. Refunds, if any, are not guaranteed and depend on the provider’s policies.
Rebooking & Modifications: A $50–$100 administrative fee may apply for trip changes or rebookings. Additional partner or supplier fees may also apply.
Journeys for Good Cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund or credit, depending on the situation.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip from unexpected changes, medical emergencies, and delays. Insurance is not included unless specifically added to your package.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, including passport validity, health documentation, and payment information.
You must comply with local laws and customs in all destinations.
7. Liability Waiver
Journeys for Good is not liable for acts beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, border closures, strikes, or provider disruptions. We act as a third-party liaison and cannot guarantee the performance of external vendors.
8. Group Trips – JFG Travel Club & Private Groups
JFG Travel Club: These group experiences have fixed itineraries, pricing, and registration windows. Your spot is confirmed only after deposit and signed agreement.
Private Group Trips: If you are booking for a school, business, or family group, a custom agreement may be required. Group leaders are responsible for managing traveler info and payments.
9. Data & Privacy
We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data, including email signups, trip information, and communication preferences.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of [Insert State or Country]. We encourage direct resolution but reserve the right to pursue mediation or legal action where necessary.
11. Modifications
Journeys for Good reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
