Meet the Founder Behind the Journey
Hi, I’m Tacharna Crump, Founder and Experience Curator at Journeys for Good. I’ve been passionate about travel for as long as I can remember even selling trips as a teen agent for World Travel Holdings. But after years of selling cookie-cutter vacations through big-name chains, I realized what was missing: heart, culture, and meaningful connection.
I got my first passport at 29 and have since curated immersive experiences across multiple continents for myself, for families, and for youth through my nonprofit, Youth Entrepreneur Institute, including our Smart Hustle Abroad program.
Journeys for Good was born from my belief that travel should be impactful, inclusive, and enriching for both the traveler and the communities they visit. Every itinerary is built with intention—supporting local businesses, highlighting culture, and helping families and first-time travelers feel seen and supported.
I’m currently building a small, growing team that includes young people training through our nonprofit’s social enterprise program developing real-world experience in travel planning, research, and client service. Every journey we design reflects our mission to make travel more meaningful, more personal, and more connected.
